I found a tick in my cat last night. It was late in the evening and went to buy the removal device. It seems like we got the whole thing out. Not sure if it was even in the skin or not. She is an indoor cat, that goes onto the balcony often. I wouldn’t think she we get one so we don’t check for them. Have you removed a tick before from your cat?

I have never. But I removed one from myself a couple of days ago. Seeing your photos it got me thinking about why tick removal devices for cats and humans are so different. I think the most popular one for humans in Sweden looks like a small lasso. It's supposed to get them out without leaving any tick body parts in the skin. The one in your photo looks like a scraper.

They sold several different kinds for pets and humans. We just bought the one that looked most similar to tweezers because that is what was used in the YouTube video we watched.

Oh my goodness. No, you wouldn’t think a tick would find her! So glad you were able to get it out!

Happy creating!
