Do your cats eat cables/cords?

One of my cats (Maja) chews on cords and cables! She only does it to the smaller ones, such as iPhone and Macbook charger cables.

Does your cat do this?

The only way for us to prevent her from doing it is keeping them out of her reach and sight.

Is there a spray you could buy which makes them taste bad to cats?

All the best, Leia

When I was growing up we had a rabbit that liked to chew cords. It actually chewed far enough thru a cord to get electrocuted. Make sure that you don't leave your phone cords plugged in when you aren't using them.

Happy creating!

Phone cords and such are relatively low current. They will likely feel it but probably not die. Cords for 220 and 110 volt appliances are much stronger. Perhaps they can sense which ones are dangerous and leave them.

#1 She doesn't seem to be phased by bad taste haha. I even put cayenne lemon spray on the cords and she is still interested in them. #2 #3 Yeah Maja only likes to chew on cords that are very thin, like headphone cables and iPhone charger cables. Normally they are not plugged into anything. She stays away from the appliances thankfully.
